Hi, I've recently purchased an AT2020 Microphone and need a boom arm for it, there are many on amazon which clip onto your desk but Im not sure whether I want a desk mounted one and if it would get in the way..

So is there any large/big boom arms that clip onto your desk that are quite big and what are your expericences with Desk mounted arms and whether or not I should get one..

Thanks.

Im sorry to see no one has answered this yet. I don't personally have a desk mounted boom arm but I believe they are very handy! Much better than an "on desk" mic because you can shove it out of the way when you're not using it! I would suggest this. Though it is quite expensive I think it is worth it. BTW nice choice on the mic, after the new year I'll be picking myself up one too :).

If you're looking for an on desk boom the one in the previous comment is a nice choice if you don't really have a budget. With me I'm getting an ATR2500 and already own a simple stand here. But if you are looking for something like an actual boom arm get a desk mount like the one I linked except with an extension arm for angled use or just go the route of the swing arm in the previous comment.
