That is the most demanding game im going to play :-).

I will most likely play tf2 (im only trading inthere) rfactor but nothing more demanding than bf4 :-)

I think you'll be fine using Crossfire in BF4. You'll likely get a performance boost.

It is a Crossfire setup so yes.

Well, would you rather have a single card or two separate cards? Having two separate cards will help cooler the individual GPUs, but it does take up more space and may introduce additional noise.

Tbh. I like bigger single graphics cards than two smaller :-)

Umm. My air 540 would much likely have space for it. When would the pascal gtx come out? :-)

Two amd cards are gonna make a fire in an air 540. Id get one card or buy great case fans. But I do always run two cards unless im testing which happens a lot.

If he has proper airflow, it'll run fine. It's a single 390X2 that he'll be running and like I said, as long as there is proper airflow, it should be okay.

That's a big if. Have a pair of horrible 980's right now that cant keep cool unless they are at 100%. So hes gonna have a pair of hairdryers in there.

I have had 3 way crossfire of old hd4850's. Kent cool and silent in that case

Yes some peoples idea of cool is 70 degree Celsius. I believe it when I see it.
