Im building my new computer and im wondering which is better in performance and cpu dependant pcie wifi expansion slot or motherbord integrated wifi?

USB ones work too (and are improving all the time)

It won't matter if the devices are otherwise similar. Dedicated cards have more often replaceable antennas and tech that utilizes multiple antennas like MiMo. But that's not always the case and it's not the fact that it's a dedicated card that making it better in performance. Think a bit bigger. Would it be beneficial for you to be able to replace the card down the line? Are you goig to be running SLI or something else that's blocking PCI-E slots from being used?
