I want to SLI my reference gtx 980 with a kingpin edition gtx 980 I found on ebay for $450. Could I do it? Is there going to be trouble considering the kingpin's PCB sticks out significantly more than the reference? Will the SLI bridge be able to make contact with the two cards?

SLI of different branded cards is fine to do, as for the cards fitting I'm not to sure, you'd have to measure the distance and find a bridge that is long enough
