Firstly, I am sorry if this is better of in the troubleshooting section. I just feel as if this solely is a software issue.

I own an Asus K73SV laptop which has a touchpad driven by synaptics drivers.

The problem:

  • whenever I only move the mouse with the touchpad just a little bit, e.g. 10 pixles it keeps snapping back to where it was.
  • This is very annoying and makes on screen buttons hard and frustrating to press.
  • I can't disble the synaptics driver all together since that will disable functions like 2-finger-scrolling or zooming with 2 fingers

Do you have Any ideas what I can search for or maybe even how to fix it?

I already had a look at the install folder of the driver but there didn't seemt to be any setup :/

UPDATE: I havenow found a .inf filethat might be the solution of my problem but is very hard to sort through since it is +13k lines long. Shall I post it here?
