I'm transferring all my laptop onto a HDD. 

I want to transfer SOME games to the SSD from the HDD.

Therefore, I'd have 2 'Steam' folders, would this be possible?

you can have as many steam folders as you like  i have 1 on my HDD and 1 on each of my 3 SSDs

Another question, how would I go about transferring some files to the SSD from the HDD, is there a program where I can just click & drag?

just drag and drop, tho you have to go into steam settings and tell it where the folder is so that it can find it.

No only for steam, unless you have the games saved outside of the steam folder

Here's an alternate method that I'd use:

1. Download a small demo off of Steam, and tell it to install under a new directory on your new drive.
2. Let it download, and navigate to the new directory Steam made.
3. Drag and drop the games you want on the new drive, to the new drive.
