so i bought myself an SSD and now im installing it. i plugged in the connectors and all that but how do i make it work?

Plug in the PSU connecter and Sata connecter (I'm assuming you've done so since you said above)

Next:

Search "disk management" in the windows search bar and open that console >> You will see that there is an unallocated space of however many GB your new SSD is >> right click the unallocated space and click "new simple volume" >> The new simple volume wizard pops up and follow through the wizard, your SSD should be seen in windows explorer afterwards with the rest of your disks.

EDIT:

If this is the only drive in your PC and you need to boot an OS off of it to even access anything then you need to create a bootable USB and boot off of that, follow the install instructions and you're good to go.

OK there is mulptiple ways you can put your OS on the new SSD, would you like to wipe the whole PC and start from scratch or just migrate your current OS over to the new SSD? Can you go into disk management and tell me if you see the disk in the first place it should be an "unallocated space"

Yeah that looks good, Disk 0 is your SSD and it is unallocated, so what we need to do is right click >> Click "Create new simple volume" and follow the wizard. I can't understand Swedish so you'll have to read through the wizard just take your time,
