So, I'm going to build my first PC and I have pretty much all the parts listed:

  • MSI z170a Gaming Pro
  • Core i5 6600k
  • Corsair Vengeance Lpx DDR4 16Gb (2x8Gb) 2400mhz
  • Asus GTX 980 Ti Strix
  • NZXT H440 Razer Edition
  • Corsair RM 750W

But I have some doubts (I'm a noob):

- In msi websites, my ram isn't listed as supported;

- MSI z170a Gaming Pro vs MSI z170a M7 vs Asus z170a;

- I'm to afraid of water cooling leakage, so I don't know if I should consider a Corsair H110 or opt for some good Air Cooling;

PS: Ram model CMK16GX4M2A2400C14

Thanks!!

Your ram should be supported just fine. Also your mobo should be totally fine. if you get an AIO (all in one) watercooler there is very, VERY little chance of leaks, but if you're still afraid of any possible leakage you could get a nice noctua cooler and it would also perform very good.

I have a Z170i from MSI which is the same chipset. I have 2666 MHz Corsair Vengence LPX it works perfect.

RAM shouldn't be a problem at all.

As long as you don't oc the hell out of that chip, a air cooler will work fine (and on top of that on air coolers are less parts to fail than on aio), but an aio will also work
