Help with motherboard/cables!

Go to solution Solved by TheSupremeReptile,

Oh yeah, if you're cable isn't the right fit, you can pop off some of the connectors for the CPU & graphics card.
And don't worry you can pop them back to a full sized connector  :)

Hi! Im for the first time going to build a PC, or more like change parts like the PSU, GPU and the case.

I need some help with where some of the cables go, like the cable to the power button on the case.

Could i upload a pic of my motherboard?

Anyways, thank you for taking your time reading this!

And please give me some advice x3

(Sorry for being a newb 3x)

most of the PSU connectors should be fairly self explanatory (just be careful of the 8 pin CPU power and any 8 pin PCIe power cables)

the front panel headers should be outlined in the manual or even on the motherboard itself and the front panel cables labled where they connect to the motherboard.

It's not as hard as it looks, most of the ports on your motherboard are labeled, most of the cables explain themselves & if you're still having problems just look up a buildlog of Linus & watch it carefully or look at the manual.
I've recently switched out my power supply & graphics card and that was my first time ever touching the inside of a pc (excluding cleaning).

Just use your logic & common sense, don't be afraid to look things up, but whatever you do DONT PANIC!!
I panicked & it took me 4 hours before I was done so yeah.

Oh yeah, don't forget to have fun when you're building :D
