Any of you owners out there can give any feedback on the BitFenix Spectres (120mm)? And how bright are their LEDs?

non pro's? had them, quiet, push little air, led not very bright. switched to cheap xigmateks which were better in each category.

im a bit of a fan of the pro version tho (no pun intended)

Best LED fans on the market buddy, although LED fans are always a compromise for looks rather than performance.

How exactly bright are they?

I'm reading the spec sheets and they seem to pretty much push the same amount of airflow + same noise level so whats the difference?

nice little fans, Don't move a ton of air though.

As for brightness, Any LED fan will be the exact same, It will light up the blades and throw a tiny bit of light around it, but wont fill a case by any means

i found the pro thru out a lot more light than the non pro, i could  be mistaken tho, no science to back it up

What do you recommend them? I don't want to splash a lot of cash for just a fan haha xD

If you don't need to move a ton of air (Case fans for example), then non pros are excellent.

For radiator/heatsink mounting or any application that you want performance then the pro's are your fan :)

Haha yeah I'm just planning out my build. I don't think the 2 fans on the case I want (Corsair 350D) are gonna really cut it when summer comes, and since where my computer will be is upstairs, its going to get quite toasty, cause you know, Australian summers xD

Yeah I'm hearing ya :)

If you keep the stock fans and just add 2 non pros to the build on top of that then you should be fine :)

That's what I'm intending to do :D Thanks for your help man :)

For intake maybe AP123 since the HDD cages will be in the way and you will need a little more static pressure. Or you could grab a dual pack SP120 QE although those make quite the humming noise at 12V. Then maybe some like AF140s for exhaust or just use either the APs or SPs thoughout

The 350D's design doesn't really have HDD cages in the way. :P

Corsair's AF/SP series cost too much for my budget, I just want some exhausts that are cheap xD

Sorry I didn't take a good look at the 350D =/ And are they? O_O They are $28 for a dual pack, that isn't too bad. Unless, you are on a tight budget?

Try $39 in Aus.

Also corsairs fans are highly over rated, like very highly

Yep, they are quite overrated. They don't push more airflow than something much less, the only reason I would buy it if I had the money too is the looks. They look damn good 8)

But yeah, non-LED Spectres should fit my needs as exhausts :P
