Don't worry about the cooler on the 7770. The card runs quite cool so just get the cheapest one and set a custom fan curve with Msi Afterburner.

As for the cooler itself, it's good but I think it's a bit pointless to may more for.

How good is a xfx DD cooler on a graphic card, i am thinking about getting a 7770 but i dont know about Xfx coolers so is the DD quiet and does it keep the card cool?

They're not bad. I have the XFX DD 7970, but a Sapphire Vapour-X would be better.

Its great at the lower end cards but it gets out moded completely 7870 and above.
