After Effects Particle collision help

Hi,

I've recently started trying After Effects and currently learning the basics. I recently got into trapcode particular and wanted to create an effect where there will be a flying particle colliding and breaking when hitting a text (preferably invisible and will be revealed after said collision). 

Been looking around youtube and can't really see a tutorial that meets this type of effect. Only saw those that bounces of walls and floors.


Any input would be appreciated.
