Hello everyone,

I have asked several questions here and finally I came up with a beta version of my new PC.

The GPU is actually the Sapphire R9 390x Nitro (I couldn't find it on PCPP)

Power Supply: SeaSonic 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  (€144.90 @ Caseking)

Now I don't have that much money right now.

I could probably buy everything in like 2 - 3 Months.

But i wondered: would it be possible to only guy the GPU and let it run in my old system.

It looks like this.

CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 4 79.0 CFM CPU Cooler  (€47.49 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Memory: Mushkin Silverline 2GB (1 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 Memory  (€17.88 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Memory: Mushkin Silverline 2GB (1 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 Memory  (€17.88 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Total: €83.25

Will the CPU and RAM bottleneck? I acutally have 4x2 GB of this RAM but either the MB is broken or the RAM as it always said (2 years ago, when I last used it) that 4GB are reserved and it can only use 4GB

So I could already have a working System and in a few months (or more if it runs well) I will buy a new CPU, MB and RAM.

What do you think?

I would recommend getting new ram, just find a cheap set 2x4 sticks, ram doesn't really show any performance increasing so you should be fine there.

the 390x should run fine as long as u don't overclock on the 550w.

the i5 should also be fine as it is a quad core.

Could you recommend me some ram that will work well with that board?
