My fans on my computer are just a little to loud and I wanted to optimize that. I already have them on a silent profile but they are still just a little loud. Does anyone know what else I could try? maybe there is some software or what the best way is to setup a custom fan profile through the mobo. Thanks for the help  :D

If you've set them to silent and they're blasting away then your temps are too high.

They aren't high and they aren't that loud, I just want to make them quieter.

Oh in that case you'll need to use Speedfan and turn them down or buy a fan controller, the fan controller is less hassle but isn't automatic.

Do you have a suggestion for a good fan controller?

Not really, I just got which ever I could afford at the time. I always wanted a Lamptron unit with touch screen and 6 channels.

Most fan controllers offer only manual solution. NZXT Grid+ and Corsair Commander Mini are only ones I know that have software solution.

But it would really help if you'd list your mobo and fans. It might also be that you aren't hearing case fans, but GPU, PSU or even HDD.
