Hi,

I am not new to the PC building community but I have never tried to overclock RAM and I was just wondering how I would do it. The set of RAM I have is Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB with big heat-spreaders running at 1600MHz and wondered if I can get it to 1866MHz? Thanks :D

Okay so do I have to mess with anything to do with RAM timings? :D Thanks

I think you have to do so, since overclocking it will increase timings? Correct me if I'm wrong.

but there is no point in overclocking ram, since going past 1600 is not needed.... and you won't see a difference.
