Ultra wides

When u watch films on a normal screen and they have the black lines top and bottom, do they go away on a ultra wide so like full screen ?

Yes. Unless the movie has hard coded black bars, but that rarely happens. Even with hard coded black bars you can use WMPC, you can easily move/resize any movie within the player.
