Noctua C14S AMD bracket question

I purchased a C14S but it didn't come with the AMD mounting brackets I need for FM3+ mounting.

 

I can buy a K8 Adapter kit locally but I haven't found anything online that will let me mount it.

 

So I was thinking, Could I buy a K8 mounting kit (which supports FM2) and then buy an adapter for that for FM3+?

 

Or what should I do? Not really sure.

What you should do is contact Noctua with purchase receipt. They will send you right bracket if its supported.

I dont have one, I could ask the seller to provide it, what if not though?

I would still contact their support about it. But with quick google looks like you'll end up doing some ghetto mounting anyway.

Did you buy the cooler second hand? If so, perhaps the seller still has the AMD parts.

 

If you bought it from a shop, they should be able to provide the brackets or alternatively, Noctua will surely help you out. They may even help you if you bought the cooler second hand, but of course in this case they don't have to as it's not their fault if the seller lost the AMD parts.
