Currently I have a i7 5820K 4.4 Ghz, Titan X, 32GB DDR4 RAM.

I'm looking to buy either a:

Predator X34 34" 3440x1440 IPS

or

PG279Q ROG Swift 27" 2560x1440 IPS

Should I have any issues with getting high FPS if I use any of these monitors with my PC? Or get a second Titan X and wait to get either of those monitors?

Depends on the games. Battlefield will run nicely. CSGO will run fckin nicely but something like GTA V might need some tuning on the settings. I vote for the Asus

You have a sister thread.

Both will be a great experience but the x34 carries a large price(for good reasons) but also comes with a gamblers best friend, a gamble. The x34 has an array of problems that people come across.

Long story short the PG279Q is a solid choice, shit. Its the best choice for a ips loving gamer. Whilist the x34 is a gamers wet dream that tend to be received as a crippled one.

Wait for CES if you want a 21:9, 3440:1440p, high refresh rate, ips, curved monitor. Someone is sure to provide.

Yeah, thinking of the X34, since it looks dreamy. Reading up on the issues seeing if it is worth it.

If you do buy it, ill pray for you, get you all the things that represent luck in this work, and then some.

Note: I dont pray to begin with.

There are a decent amount of small issues. The main issues are back light bleed/ips glow.
