I have been having some problems with CSGO recently. Every couple of weeks it starts flickering and spazzing out and the only fix is to reinstall nvidia drivers. I did this a few times before I reformatted but it does it consistently every one or two weeks now after the reformat. I have tried a few different versions of drivers and they all end up doing it. I am currently on 359.06. Does anyone know what causes it to do this and how to permanently fix it?

When it starts again I can downgrade below 358.50 yes, I don't know if I have tried it before. Shouldn't the driver do it right away instead of working fine for a week or two though?

Is your card over clocked? Try reducing memory speed.

Okay so it just started again and I tried disabling GSync completely and that fixed it.... Even though I have had GSync disabled and a fixed refresh rate set for CSGO for months.... Does anyone know why it is ignoring my setting and reverting to the global, enable gsync setting?

Could be something to do with the last few updates, where they added "Auto" settings to the game, and changed everyones settings to it.

No like everytime i reinstall i make sure to set csgo to have fixed refresh and no vsync so for some reason it is ignoring my setting and reverting to the global setting of using gsync
