Need some help

Keradia

Hey so I'm building my first computer and I want to build a really quiet one. Money isn't really an issue (just got a huge scholarship- lol) but that said I don't want to waste heaps of cash on a 980Ti or anything absurd because I'd rather just upgrade the GPU alone when the next gen comes out.

I also want a sound card so I was looking at this

Creative Sound Blaster ZxR

I'm not sure about the motherboard. I was looking at both of these but I'm really not sure.

Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3 Motherboard

I've already got hard drives from the computer I'm using now so I don't need any extra storage... just an SSD for the OS will be ok I think.

Swap 970 for R9 390 from anyone except Asus and Gigabyte.

Choose the cheaper of the two motherboards.

You don't need a sound card.

Samsung 850 EVO 240GB is better price/performance SSD.

You really don't need 32GB of RAM.

Whats wrong with asus and gigabyte?

They're Nvidia sided companies and their coolers reflect that

I heard AMD stuff is always hot and loud... hence why I chose the strix. Is that just a factoid?

Asus doesn't put Nearly the effort into their AMD coolers as they do their Nvidia coolers. Buy a sapphire, and enjoy nice load temps.
