Hey Community! I have 2 qustions and I would be happy if someone could answer Thema: 1.: Im planning to build a PC for my friend and bis budget is not that great. Im planning to put a g3258 into it paired with 16gib of RAM and a r9 380 4gib. Is a Corsair CX 500 M good enough for that? I See it has 2 PCIe 6+2 connectors but I dunno if it is enough quality etc. 2. Would the g3258 at 4.3-4.5Ghz with Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 bottlenecking the r9 380? Sincerly, Chiiter

And what is with the x4 860k? If i would overclock that one would it beat the i3?

i3 > x4 860k. Even though the 860k has 4 cores the i3 have superior IPC and therefore would perform better plus the hyperthreading on the i3 would help everywhere but gaming (which can't use hyperthreading yet).

1 i wouldn't get a cx psu, but 500w is fine.

2.i would try about 1.3v and start from there to get stability
