DVI port broken on GPU?

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

I intend on replacing one of my monitors with the 144hz one  ;)

Then can't you use the bottom DVI port? Use an HDMI-to-DVI cable for the other one if you need to. Unless they're both 144Hz :P

Hi everyone. A few months ago the top DVI port on my gpu stopped working. Whenever I start up my pc with one of my monitors using the top port, one of my monitors displays the message "OUT OF RANGE". Haven't found out what the issue is yet. I have been using HDMI for my first monitor, and the bottom DVI port for my second monitor. Is there any way I can fix this, as soon I will be buying a 144hz monitor, and I have heard that 144hz does not work on HDMI.

You'll need to use DisplayPort for your last monitor in any case, the R9 270X can only support up to 2 monitors via DVI/HDMI.
