I'm going to another country tomorrow out of a sudden and need to leave my pc rendering. Is there an intuitive way to be able to control my pc with a laptop? Never understood how remote access works. Would be very appreciative if somebody could explain or maybe suggest a better software

Teamviewer, i use this for lots of PCs. works great and requires a password to log into the account. AND ITS FREE!

Does it give me full access of the pc?

Google has an extension for Chrome called Chrome Remote Desktop. It works just like windows remote desktop, except you don't need port forwarding and it's in browser.

Is better or worse than teamviewer?

Yeah use teamviewer and profit my friend. Its super fast and allows lots of control. You will find yourself using it more than you think.... it has a Mobile App as well :)
