GPU help!

Hi!

 

I just built my pc and i have installed windows and stuff. but when i connect the vga/pci-e cable to the graphics card... It won't turn on!

 

What should i do

this need alot more information, what isnt turning on? the monitor? or the whole computer?

some monitor, you need to navigate in the options of said monitor, and tell it to use what outlet to use : HDMI, VGA, DP, etc.

some have a SOURCE button, that auto detect.

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr

could be, do you have another gpu to confirm that hypothesis?

dont return it before you're 100% sure its the GPU. can you try this gpu into another computer? a friend perhaps? 

what is the GPU in question, can you provide pictures of the setup? everything is plug at the right place?
