R9 290 fan issue

I have a ASUS Radeon R9 290 OC edition. Every time I turn my pc the fans turn to 100% and when i look in gpu tweak the fans are set to manual and at 100%. I have saved auto fan speed to all the profiles and checked for updates. Currently on version 2.6.7.0 and i think it may have started happening after i updated but do not know for sure.

Any Ideas?

Are you running AMD's crimson drivers?
