Hey guys, trying to build a new PC when I was thinking about building a "console like" PC, I LOVED the look on the Lian-Li PC-Q19B but it seems like it stopped shipping for some reason.

Anyways, My first choice when building a PC was the Fractal Design Define R4 for the mid build, however I realized that I won't be using more than 32 GB max (at least for the upcoming 3 years) so why should I get the big motherboard and thus thought about compact cases.

Point is, I like to have a compact PC where I can just shove it somewhere while playing video games from it or streaming Netflix using either my chrome cast or Steam link (for game streaming) onto my TV.

Can you guys help me out in picking a "console like" case with these specs I have, of course while maintaining a healthy temperature for the PC, I'll most likely not overclock anything since I need the cooling.

Here are my specs:

GTX 980 TI G1 gaming from Gigabyte (it's a bit bigger than the usual)

Intel I7 6700K

16 GB DDR4

1000W corsair power supply

NOTE: Nothing is bought yet.... beside the GTX 980 TI I got it for 400$ so I had to buy it :P

Thanks guys!

for a compact case you'd need a smaller PSU, 14cm or shorter or even an SFX PSU, but case wise there's a node 304, corsair 250D, silverstone FT03 mini, node 605 for ATX boards, raijintek metis, and think there's some more

but with ITX you're stuck with 2 dimm slots, and 1 PCI-E slot, and a decent middle ground if you think you'll need the expandability there's M-ATX but it is a little bigger.

Intel i5-6600K@4.2GHz, 16GB Crucial DDR4-2133, Gigabyte Z170X-UD3, Be quiet shadow rock slim, Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ OC, Fractal design Integra M 550W, NZXT S340, Sandisk X110 128GB, WD black 750GB, Seagate momentus 160GB, HGST 160GB

True, thanks but I still think that a max of 32 GB is all I need for the near future + I'll be only gaming on it so not much inputs for me :o

Well, might not fit your GPU come to think of it... EDIT: NVM can fit 310mm of GPU.

yeah I am using Pcpartpicker and it seems that everything fits perfectly! Only main issue am concerned about is the heat output and noise levels. Compared with the Fractal Design R4 is there some sort of comparison?

Would the FPS be affected a lot? do you have any specs on how bad it becomes at the cost of comparability?

FPS affected? No. I think it's possible to fit AiOs in the 202 if you really want Going to have to stick with air cooling, Noctua L9i with a larger fan maybe?. Noise should be fine and so should temps (for the GPU anyways).
