CPU power and storage

I've got the option between a 6700k with a 250 gb Samsung SSD or a 5820k with a 120 gb SSD.. Both include a 1 tb HDD. My work load will mostly be gaming, but I would love the option for content creation (video) and stuff. I program but power for compiling code is really a must for me because I don't handle massive projects.

Motherboard suggestions for the builds ould be appreciated, I just don't want a red motherboard.

Any other advice is also appreciated but all parts must be the same or less in price..
