Hi guys,

 

I seem to be getting weird CPU usage while playing games, CS GO in particular.

 

I have an i5 2500k OC'd to 4.5 Ghz @1.392 V. I'm seeing CPU usage around 95% while playing CS GO. This isn't normal right? Would anyone have an idea why this would be happening? I'm using a GTX 570 as my video card.

EDIT: 

 

It seems to be going back and forth between 80-95% now.

Any background processes going on? Half the time I run into this problem as well, then I realize I forgot to pause my F@H :P

Look in task manager to see what is causing the high usage, if it's not obvious, reset your overclock and test again.
