Would you recommend this camera?
Thinking about buying it just for photos.

Would you recommend this camera?

Thinking about buying it just for photos.

 

For photos, I'm sure is a pretty decent camera.  Check some camera reviews online.

Should be good, my old (and donate to my brother) Sony SLT A33 takes cracking photos and nice video

if you are buying new, i would personally go with the small sony a6000. that will give you the same features as the a3500 but give access to a better range of lenses.
