PSU Electronial buzz sound

Hello

 

I got a EVGA 1600w T2 and it seems there is coil whine, unsure though. It sounds like an electrical buzz. Sounds like it is near the plug of the PSU. It happens during idle and load. It is a new PSU

Yep, that will be coil whine. It's annoying, but it's not a sign of any problems other than maybe minor quality control issues.

 

If it bothers you, RMA it. If not, it'll work fine.

Yeah, it is basically silent even during idle with ECO mode on, only hear it if you put your ear next to the PSU, just wanted to make sure it was coil whine.

Unplug that main cord, and insert it firmly.

 

Since you told that it's near PSU plug.

Yeah, the cable is not completely straight, however it is not really bent

I'm not sure about that.

 

It's an Electrical Component. Could go crazy or Stay on for 100 years.

 

As I told you before, You can RMA it. Their Customer Support is great. I'd RMA it, if I were you! :)
