100 background apps running?

How do I know which ones to close? and how do I close them? Seems to me that 100 is a @#$% ton of them.

Holy shit! Close the dodgey ones ie. 'device driver updater' close them all if you really want

I had way more on my laptop which had a ton of bloatware. Run CCleaner and go in to windows disk cleanup and run that.

I just use Imgur and the photo option in the text editor.

 

Edit: Imgur gives the BBCode link, just copy and paste that and you will be good to go.

Windows 8 and 10 show background services that would not show in task manager with previous versions of Windows.  It's still always a good idea to go through them and look for anything out of the ordinary.

The process tab shows everything thats running, so that's normal. A lot of the things you see are the system itself(WIndows), then followed by drivers(like nvidia) and programs(like Chrome).
