I've had so many problems with the updater, got it to work on a couple of my computers but would always freeze up on the rest. The best solution I came up with was finding a clean copy on piratebay and putting that on a disk.

Short of being hooked up to a tesla coil you don't have enough static electricity in your body to immediately destroy any components, most likely. However even a small static discharge can cause small micro fractures in silicon chips that over time can effect functionality of the components. While there are several ways to ground yourself while building a computer, I still find a static strap useful in a build.

I get the same problem with my CPU ever since I started water cooling it. The only way I can get an accurate reading of the temp is by using the the readings off my bios, everything other piece of software I use is about 20° off. I got really excited for a second when I checked my temps and saw the CPU was 7°, and then reality struck me. Damn reality!

Crappy Pre-Built Motherboard/BIOS problem

You just proved my point so perfectly. Where in any of that did you comment about the call quality, ease of use or even the microphone, things we look for in a phone. What you just described there was a portable computer for running apps. While most Windows phones are powerful computers, at least before Microsoft bought Nokia and ruined their phones, they are a functional phone used to talk to someone. Did you notice I didn't say text and wait several minutes for a reply and text back and wait even longer for a reply and turn a 30 second conversation into a two hour lol swap. I still love and find uses for apps, but I don't want them at the expense of having a phone that is more eye candy or status symbol than a phone. I'm not trying to say Windows Phones are perfect or the Microsoft app store has everything, but it is much better than it was a couple years ago. The phone works for me and that is all I care about. Now for the future of the Windows Phone, all I can say is I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Ram and Motherboard compatibility ("usable memory")
pyro1212 replied to Pepi28's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Always read the fine print. Thankfully RAM is cheap. My question is why are you running a FX8350 on a 970 chipset? That board can't natively support that 1866 RAM. -
No more than any other in it's class. The point is it's named Devil, so that would be Satan's graphics card. Now the power supply on the other hand will burst into flames, and I thought that would be just right for Satan's computer.

I assume you are talking about your Start Button. Have you installed some sort of program to give you a classic start button, like Classic Start or Start 10? And will be Mr Obvious here and ask if you have tried restarting your computer?
