All Prices and Lights aside, is the actual surface of the razer firefly good?

well.. i'm gonna start by saying i have no first hand experience with razer products, nor do i use mousepads.

but think of it like this:

you pay roughly €70 for a mousepad with LEDs, a usb hub, and some other stuff.

no matter how well its quality for money is, you'll always get better value when going for a product where the entire budget went into its main purpose: a surface to use your mouse.

i can go around the corner to the diy store and buy a sheet of whatever i want my mousepad to be, and it'll be a fraction of the cost, while being better quality.

I understand that you are trying to be helpful and I appreciate it, but I'm not asking about what kind of deal you can get or what you can get thats better, I'm just asking about the quality of the mousepad itself.
