I need help testing a graphics card

I have an old amd x1300 and I want to test it in a system to see if it works. how do I go about doing this? I have a AMD 6850 in there do i just unplug that and plug this one in and boot? or do I need to install the drivers first? please help.

Ps. this is not going to replace my 6850 i only want to see if it works

Yup, just take out the old card and plug this one in. Windows should automatically get the drivers.

What version X1300 do you have? Some X1300 have a PCI interface which will not work with the PCI E slot your 6850 is plugged into.

Yes pulling the GPU and putting the one in should work. When you are in your OS, download the latest drivers for your GPU via internet and install it.
