Gmod server requirements

I would like to know the system requirements to run a gmod server. I have a couple of computers I don't do anything with and I'm considering that but I need to know what the sort of minimum requirements are. A clear answer would be helpful, I haven't found anything like a list. Mostly just people saying this works and this doesn't.

It depends on how many people you plan on hosting and what kind of mods and stuff you will use. Typically a low-mid range PC (i3 w/ 8GB RAM) will do, but again, that won't serve a 100+ people.
