Installing Hyper 212 Evo

Hey everyone, so when I built my computer I built it fully with the stock CPU cooler in, ran tests etc. And now I am looking to install my new Hyper 212 evo.

I was wondering if I should disassemble everything and then install the cooler, or if I could just install it in the case.

Thanks

If you can get the backplate on while it's the case, build it in the case.

Also, can I use hydrogen peroxide to rub off the thermal paste?

I have no idea.

most people use rubbing alcohol and a coffee filter.

It will be as effective as using hot water. The alcohol is to break down the componds and oils. The Hydrogen Peroxide should not hurt anything though.

Pretty much, if you have a cpu cutout behind your motherboard on your case, do it while it's still inside the case, otherwise if you're having difficulty installing it, take out any existing GPU and try that or you just might have to disassemble it.

I would do it in the case since it will be easier imo if your case has a cpu cutout. This is a good video in installing this cooler imo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWG73Mom4cY

hydrogen peroxide will probably work and I would use a lint free cloth/coffee filter in order to clean the cpu.
