I recently checked my 3DMark Sky Diver 1.0 benchmark and got 17011. Link.

It says on their specification that if my system score is more than 12000 in Sky Diver, I should run Fire Strike.

Proc: Intel i5-4460

Mobo: Asus B85M-Gamer
RAM: RipjawsX 2x4GB CL9 1600
GPU: Sapphire R9 280x Dual-X
Case: Tecware Alpha
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W
Display: Asus VC239H
Extra Case Fan: Cougar CF120
OS: Win10 Pro 64-bit

I tried to run Fire Strike twice already and my PC just freezes right after I clicked "Run"

It freezes even before it can start the benchmark. Why is this happening?

Something must be wrong so please help me.

Thank you so much for your inputs.

Something's not stable. In my experience, Firestrike is the ultimate AMD GPU torture tool other than furmark. Even Firestrike artifacts much faster than furmark

Current PC: Origin Millennium- i7 5820K @4.0GHz | GTX 980Ti SLI | X99 Deluxe

I just checked your score and it looks like the GPU is running at stock. Play games that fully use the gpu for an hour or so and if those have no issues then it's a driver issue conflicting with firestrike

Tomorrow I'll have the Witcher3. That's the only game I have here to play with at the moment. Is that good enough?

And follow-up question, which type of problems am I supposed to lookout for playing more than an hour?

Artifacting(blue or black squares on the screen that are not supposed to be there). And complete game crashes

Ok I will try that. Thank you for your continuous reply. Others are just leaving 1 comment and makes me hanging with their incomplete idea. Hehe. Again thanks!

It's pretty weird. Coz I forced run FireStrike 32-bit and I was able to run it. Then after that I run forced 64-bit and I also got it running. After that I run again normally and here's what I got as result.. http://www.3dmark.com/fs/6814735

It is really weird because yesterday I tried to run it normally twice and it froze as soon as I clicked run. Any idea why I experienced that? Everything is brand new with the PC except the GPU. I have Crimson v15.11.

I hope you can few ideas why I experienced that coz I believe my PC should'nt do that.

And additional question should I get the Beta Crimson?

EDIT: I compared my score with the guy who posted in LTT 3DMark Thread. Link.

And my result scores are very low compared to his. He has G3258 and R9 380. Why is that?

Sorry I have a lot of questions.. Because im a curious kid. Thank you!

The 380 is essentially an overclocked 280x. If you've found that you have no issues with the 280x at stock then definitely overclock a bit. Since the 280x stock clock is relatively low, overclocking can make a significant difference. I have the 390x and I'm running the wqhl Crimson. As long as your games are running fine don't switch drivers yet.

Im running Witcher 3 with Ultra Settings. Im having around 27-50 FPS. I played for 5 hours and it seems fine. My FPS dropped 14 once. That should indicate that my card is running good right?

At 1080p? Definitely. That's very solid performance.
