HELP DEAD PSU

I recently bought pc parts off amazon for my first ever build.

It worked great for 1 week then my EVGA SUPERNOVA G2 650W died on me.

Contacted Amazon and they offered a total refund.

 

My question is: Should I take the refund money and buy another psu in the same 90$ price range or just ask for changing the unit with another of the same model?

Take the PSU. PSU'S rarely fail. EVGA is a good brand

$90 for a G2 650w PSU is way to much. They had the platinum series 650w for less than that. I would get something else

No, it's the normal price sadly last time I checked...

You may have had just a bad model id say since EVGA have like 5-10 year warranty on their PSU's. Id go with the same one and think its just a 1 off
