I want to mount my 150mm reservoir outside my case because there isn't enough room in it. Where is the best place to mount it, and how should I go about doing that? I first saw an external res on youtube.com/barnacules1 channel... and it looks awesome with the blue liquid..

Thanks guys,

Rob

Where is the pump mounted in the case? You will want to make sure you mount your res higher then that so you feed the intake of the pump. And what case and res do you have?

What case have you got?

Maybe on the roof? No mounting holes? Nothing a drill can't solve ;)

I got an old Sharkoon Rebel9 case, and I've installed a window on the side and fan holes at the bottom for a slim 360mm rad.I'll probably drill a couple of holes at the windowed side of the case to mount the res. The blue liquid will look balling...! ;) I've also powder coated it black on the inside because it had a disgusting grey, and finally, a couple of cable management holes and a mobo cooler hole..

Mounting it from the front of the case might look amazing depending on how you execute it. Cut holes in one of your blank ODD bay covers for the fittings
