hey im asking for a friend that wants new hardware she does not have that much money but she want to have a downpayment plan with the store but im not sure she needs a ned cpu and motherboard 

 

the cpu she have now is  intel exeon CPU E3-1240 V2 and a motherboard compatible with that cpu

 

she is not gaming that much intensive games just lol and she might have the h1z1 and cs go

so my self recomended that she just go for a new gpu and psu and a new case that will help

but i dont wanna screw my friend if this is not correct

 

dont know much about the xexeon cpus from intel she got the whole comuter cheep at The Gathring a lan party in norway :)

what are the other specs?

as you said maybe the gpu or psu needs an upgrade, depends...

but the e3 should be ok

She dont need a new cpu.

 

That xeon is basically a i7 3770 that turbos to 3.8 instead of 3.9.

She dont need a new cpu.

 

That xeon is basically a i7 3770 that turbos to 3.8 instead of 3.9.

nice she needs a new gpu bad! the gpu she got now is so old we cant even name it its no larger then a iphone  6

if the system is running check the device manager for info ;) or the code on top of the cards pci/agp/pci-e connection

yeah no need i know its good enugh for lol but as lol is getting updates to the graphics all the time now so its gonna be a problem real soon she is gonna go for a 970 or 960 so she has the option to play harder games in the future

even as a member of team green i'd recommend a team red card like the 390 or something

amd is a bit cheaper at that price range and offers more power on 1080p than a 970 ;)
