so im trying to pick a new psu for under $180 aud im thinking about 850 watts but i just cant choose one

I would recommend it, but a lower wattage one, if it would work with your PC, what are your specs?

fx 8350 overclocked, 2 r9 280x's 

well ill be getting them soon and thats why im upgrading

I wouldn't even want to touch that, 80+ Bronze at 1000W, I would recommend saving a few pennies and get a better PSU, also sick PC :D
