Screen turns off automatically .why?

My screen just turned off automatically and sometimes it shows a green screen which is plain and nothing is written on it I have been having this problem from 2 days I thought it was a graphic card problem so I posted it here

My specs are

I7 2600k (used CPU level up option from my Maximus IV extreme bios and it OC'D it to 4.6 in turbo mode)

Maelstrom 240 liquid cooler

Zotac Gtx 980 amp extreme edition

Corsair Hx 750 SMPS

Maximus IV Extreme mobo

Windows 10 pro

Whats the problem?

My GPU is still just a few months old

Its bugging me coz it just turn the screen off and shows no signal or green screen when im playing and when its idle

when i have kept a download overnight or idle for some time it restarts the computer (maybe) coz when i come back all the apps are closed like it restarted didnt see it restart though i was away

Test with another monitor maybe? And maybe the CPU might be overclocked a bit to much that the system fails and resets.
