I'm mostly concerned about the GPU, as I have no knowledge about their performance. Also, would be very helpful if I could lower some costs on the parts while maintaining the performance! Thanks for your help !

the amd r9 390 will give you better performance for around the same or lower price.

GTX 970 is very good but R9 390 performs better at the same price point
