Desk mod

Hey there,

 

So for this Christmas I am looking to buy some rgb led light strips so i can mount them on the back of my desk and ect.

 

This is my desk and the green outline indicates where I want to mount my led lights:

I think you should get them USB powered tho, having a 24/7 running led strip can be really hot.

You will only need one strip of LED really. I have these LED strips.

What do you mean by one strip? 

 

If i only used one then there would be a odd lighting thing where as with two all of the back of the desk is covered

Everything you have there looks to be good, for the splitter if you plan to hookup different sets of LED's to them you may need some crimp on connectors for the strip itself:
