Hello everyone ...I am planning to buy new monitor for christmas , mainly focused for gaming ( RPG's like witcher ,fallout but also some other genres like Far Cry ) but also for web browsing and watching movies (mostly i watch movies on TV but sometimes i get too lazy to turn on TV so i just watch it on PC :P ) ...i have been stuck between IPS/VA ultrawide choices and TN 144hz G-Sync ...i dont want to spend too much for IPS Ultrawide 100 Hz blah,blah...something around 500 Euro would be acceptable ...Right now i am deciding between  LG 34UM67-P  and Dell2716DG ...my current monitor is just a cheap samsung 24" 1080p 60Hz crap with one dead pixel...

My Thoughts :

LG 34UM67-P :

IPS (better colors and viewing angles )

Ultrawide ( must look EPIC with RPG like Witcher or Skyrim !!! )

                          34 inches of beautiful scenery

FreeSync ( useless with my GTX 970 but maybe later i will change to AMD ..who knows )

Lower resolution (i can see difference between 1080p and 1440p up close...but i sit pretty far from monitor so it may not be such problem )

Dell2716DG  :

2560x1440p (sharper than my shaving razor!)

144 Hz refresh rate ( i can definitely see difference between 30 and 60 Hz but never saw 144 Hz so i cant tell if i can see difference )

G-Sync ( will help smooth out unstable framerate , that i can totally see )

TN (i am using TN right now and i can see different colors if it sits next to IPS but otherwise i dont notice it )

Higher resolution=need moar horse powa ! (i can play most games at 1440p ...G-sync will help with unstable FPS so it should be ok..i think)

Regular 16:9 aspect ratio....i dont know if it is bad or good :D

Any thoughts will be welcome...it doesnt have to be just one of those i described ...suggest anything similiar within 450-550 eur price range ..if needed my PC specs can be found in my profile

Thanks for any replies in advance !!!
