Headset help

I was wondering about getting a new headset and I saw the asus echelon and the rog orion but I want to know which is better.

Depends on the features you want, but honestly I wouldn't get either.

I want to get something under £50 or around £50

I would recommend Plantronic Gamecom 380, thes ones which I use.

You would be hard pressed to get a better "headset" without spending a fortune on gimmicks like surround sound (in headsets)

Could also go for steelseries siberia v2.

It also depends on what features you want, 7.1? wireless? closed/open ear cups? leather/cloth ear pads? etc

What you need to realize is that those headsets are "gamer" headsets.

They are usually just normal cheap headsets with gimmicks attached to them and the price drove up because they are "gamer" ones.

Both the ones you are looking at have 50mm drivers though, they should sound similar and are pretty much as cheap as you are going to get for the driver size.  Although that doesn't necessarily mean they will be "better" than cheap headsets with 40mm drivers as everyones hearing is different, you might not be able to tell the difference.
