Not able to connect to CSGO public matches

DeathWing72
Go to solution Solved by Notree,

The expected game timer continues to rise until a window that says that a server with acceptable ping cannot be found. This is odd considering that my brother who is on the same network can connect to matches just fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue/ found a solution? Any help is appreciated!

Have u changed your max ping in settings?

I haven't and probably will a bit, but I don't want to raise it much higher than it already is so I can stay at lease somewhat competitive :/  Thanks for the quick response though!

Raising your max acceptable ping does not mean your ping in games will be higher, it will simply open your connection up to more lobbies.

Setting your max ping to 300 doesnt meant youre gonna get placed in some random server across the world and get 250 ping.
