I have a 500W on my PC and I put in the DVD that came with my graphics card to install and update all the program for the graphics card nessary. After I did that, my screen resolution is more clear... It asked me to restart and I couldn't access my mouse for some reason or my keyboard, so then I pressed the reset button on my PC after that, I tried to turn it back on all that happened was it turned on for like 2sec then immediately shutdown. Second try, it did turn on but the fan was glowing and all of the part is running but it's not fully running like it's on but the whole computer is not fully running, my monitor cant find any input because it's not fully turned on. Can this be the shortage of power on my PSU? The only way I was able to turn it off was switching the power button on my PSU because the power button wasn't working after I turned it. Once I turned it on, I wasn't able to turn it off with the power button on my PC. After I updated my graphics card? (MSI GTX 750TI)

Well I have a motherboard that use 400 and Graphics card using 300 I think I dont have enough WATTS to boot up my comp. (Motherboard: M5A97 with MSI GTX 750TI) My graphics card runs off the motherboard so it doesn't use any power cable from the PSU

Your motherboard does not take 400 watts I can promise you that! :) . I belive that build has sufficent power from that PSU, although your PSU could have problems in it. Please post your specs!!!

Qouteing Whitecrystall, It's very possible static electricity has caused some problems. Were you using any protection?
