I can't descide which case to go with:
Coolermaster Mastercase Pro 5

OR
Phanteks Enthoo Pro M

I love the modularity of the MasterCase, and the possibility of what it might become, but because the tower is going on the desk, I like the side I/O of the Pro M, and the fact that the closed off basement.

Other than that, Both cases pretty much offer the same open style, add on design that has kinda become the standard for modern cases. I'm going with a Black and Red build, so both cases are perfect.

I'd love to hear your opinions. Both are in my case buget and buying either of the cases doesn't mean I'm sacrafising preformance for asthetics.

Thanks!!!!

I'm willing to throw some extra money to the case for looks.

I explain that. Which one do you like more?

The Pro M is $80.

The full tower Enthoo Pro is $99.

I know, but because it's going on the desk, I don't want a HUGE full tower PC case on the desk, cause then it belittles everything else. That's why I'm going with a mid tower. And besides, I don't need the extra room that a full tower offers...

Plus, the Pro M has some features that the Pro doesn't, like a removable bracket to easily install your AIO or the sideways IO that is great cause if the IO is on top, you need to get up to find the hole (pun intended) to plug in a USB or cellphone...

If i had to pick one of the two..i may pick the CM case just because i think it looks better =p

So are you saying it just looks better and that it isn't that much better?

(I don't mean this in a harsh way, I'm just wondering what you mean...)

The enthoo pro m is better

The CM 5 just isnt modular and looks too plastic-like for me

The full tower is huge, yes.  ...but you can dismantle like 90% of that case, without drilling rivets.  It comes with a 200mm front intake, and a fan hub controller (up to 6 fans).

Phanteks all day.... sorry but all this hype about the mastercase 5 is so freaking annoying. First off its not a modular case by ANY means and its ugly AF.

I agree with you about the hype, cause everyone is conserned about "future proofing" components, and because you can (hopefully in the future) replace the 3.0 USB ports to type C, or you can buy different side panells etc.

But I disagree about the looks. I find it to be a very clean case. However if I had the money I would go either with the 760T or the Enthoo Evolv.

Which NZXT would you recomend then?

Currently im using the NZXT s340 (because it was like £30-40 cheaper at the time) or the H440.

Also i own the white one, its pretty nice and clean with a nice window panel.

But remember, buy something you will like looking at since it will be you looking at it all the time =]

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can also dismantle the Pro M. Besides, the fact that you can disasemble the case is perfect for modders that want to paint the case, so it is a useless feature for someone like me getting into the PC comunity. Also, I'm not planning on using too many fans (max of 5) for the case, so I don't really need a fan hub controller- worst case I can pick one up pretty cheaply

Fair enough.  I think the Pro M looks much better than the full tower BTW.  ;)

I think Cooler Master cases are so ugly other than their mini ITX Elite 130. The Enthoo Pro M just looks so clean and well designed. I have the full tower Enthoo Pro and it has excellent build quality too, I'd imagine the Pro M would be similar.

I had to make the same choice about 3 weeks ago and I was going to get the phanteks pro... But found the evolv atx and feel in love. It's got the same great phanteks build quality and similar layout but the Ali panels finish it off nicely. They do a black but its not like most cases as its matte with a sparkle to it. (some kind of sand last effect I think)
