Running FPS's on multiple monitors

I recently got a second monitor to match my first one and want to do something ive seen many times and always dreamed of...playing a first person shooter with the mini map displayed full size on a second monitor but i have no clue how to do it and what searches ive done on google dont make a lot of sense to me.,.. someone please help!!!

Which game?  Battlefield 4 let's you do this pretty easily, but that's the only game I play where there's a mini map available.
